Karlsruhe overview

Karlsruhe Travel Guide
The Rhine Valley, where Karlsruhe is situated, is Germany’s warmest region. The place is only about 115 meters above sea level and is bordered by mountains in both sides. Therefore, Karlsruhe has more sunshine than any other city in Germany. However despite its favourable weather condition, there isn't a bunch of travellers going to Karlsruhe. Tourists normally tend to travel towards the nearby historical cities of Freiburg and Heidelberg. Moreover, most holidaymakers also use Karlsruhe only as their starting point for exploring the Black Forest. It's a shame though, as the small city is really a nice place to explore. There are several exceptionally beautiful alleys and residential areas in Karlsruhe, like the Weststadt. It's also worth your money to order a cup of espresso or glass of cocktail in one of the many hidden cafes and bars of Karlsruhe. It was rumoured that the city has the country’s second highest number of bars – behind only to Berlin.
