Dusseldorf overview

Dusseldorf is one of the most modern cities on the river bank of Rhine. With Dusseldorf’s tourist attraction quite close to one another, you can easily go to the famed shopping street of Konigsallee while making a quick peep on the historical Altstadt. Walk a little further and you can see the stunning view of Rhine and the art facades of Oberkassel. A city park nearby provides a pleasant place when your feet get weary after a tiring stroll. Meanwhile, the Rhine Tower, which elevates above the local government building, offers a bird’s-eye view of Dusseldorf’s bustling city, quiet countryside and busy river. Dusseldorf houses more than 260 cosy pubs and taverns, making the city known as ‘the world’s longest bar’. You will also be amazed to see lots of Japanese hanging out in here. The reason: Dusseldorf is home to the largest Japanese population in Europe.
