Baden-Baden overview

Baden-Baden Travel Guide
As the name of the town implies, Baden-Baden, or ‘Bathing-Bathing’ in English, is most popular for its therapeutic baths and hot springs. The town has been famous for centuries, even during the era of the Roman Empire. Luckily, Baden-Baden was spared from WWII bombings. So until this time, the town retains the grandeur of its 19th century stately mansions, luxurious villas and tree-lined avenues. Don't be discouraged by its repute as a hang-out place for the rich. This picturesque town is perfect for travellers with limited budget too. Here, you can enjoy even without spending lots of money or gambling a fortune in the casino. Even its celebrated spas do not necessarily need you to have deep pockets to enjoy. You however need to bring your own swimwear in the pools. Unless you are prepared to see other’s private genitals, don’t go to the sauna area upstairs as it’s only exclusive for the nudists.
